If the 755 irons are not conforming, then are Steve Sticker’s 755s custom made with conforming grooves?

Titleist Golf Clubs wrote on February 3, 2010 at 3:38 pm

We commented on this in another post, but Strick’s 755 irons were made with a Tour-only groove profile that does conform to the new regulations. Strick had his irons tested by the USGA late last season and they were deemed to conform at that time.

But big surprise Cheristmas gift from Titleist is Ogilvy?
In the video Ogilvy wearing Titleist cap is not what it suggests?

Happy Holidays to the Titleist team and the Hole-In-One bag tag for my first hole in one last July. Seems like ancient history with over 2 feet of snow on the ground here in Minnesota now. Happy New Year.

Do you guys know if the Titleist 755 irons will conform to the new usga rules for 2010?

Titleist Golf Clubs wrote on December 28, 2009 at 12:20 pm

Ted-
The 755 irons will not conform to the new groove regulations being implemented as a condition of competition on the professional tours in 2010. Visit the USGA’s Informational Club Database for more information.

Great equipment glad you will be at the Merchandise show in Orlando this year.
Please use valcro on your hats. Don’t get TOO fancy with the irons. The Pro V1x is the best.
