Getting to Know Ross Fisher
November 6th, 2009
Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher captured the 2009 Volvo World Match Play Championship last week in Spain. This is a format for which the 28-year-old Englishman seems well suited. Earlier this season, Fisher finished 4th at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.

It took Fisher 126 holes over four days to capture his third career European Tour victory, a tough test for anyone. “It’s been a long grueling week. This course is very demanding, not only mentally but also physically. My caddy told me to carry on fighting and take it one shot at a time.”
Fisher knew he had the right equipment in the bag, it was a matter of trusting himself while standing up to the tough conditions. After his win, Fisher remarked, “All departments of my game were strong: the new (Titleist 909D3) driver seems to be going really well, my short game was pretty sharp and there were some shots out there that really paid dividends.” Click here to see what is in Ross Fisher’s bag.
This win launched Fisher into the top 20 in the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time in his career. Currently ranked 17th, Fisher is playing this week at the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai, China, where more than world ranking points are at stake. Fisher enters the week in 4th place on the European Tour’s Race to Dubai standings. He can move into first place with the winner’s share of this week’s $7 million purse.
You can catch Ross Fisher, fellow Titleist Brand Ambassadors Nick Watney and Rory McIlroy, as well as the rest of the HSBC Champions field all weekend on the Golf Channel. Click here for schedule.

I have a question about the 695CB irons. When i look at the grooves on the irons they look smaller then normal. Are the grooves on these irons v grooves or are they conforming to the 2010 new limitations or whatever they call it.
Ted-
The 695CB irons do feature V grooves, and they are expected to conform with the new groove regulations when the conforming club list is released by the governing bodies.
