Acushnet Korea Celebrates First Anniversary of Titleist Tour Van

As evidence of the global reach of the Titleist brand across the worldwide professional tours, Acushnet Korea recently celebrated the first anniversary of the Titleist Tour Van. Just like the Tour Van that travels to every PGA TOUR and PGA European Tour event, the Titleist Tour Van in Korea debuted at the Maekyung Open on May 1, 2007, and has supported the players with a wide array of equipment and services.

Over the past year, the number of full-line Titleist ambassadors on the Korean Tour has grown from seven to 15, including SH Kang, J.K. Mo, Eddie Lee, MW Kang, KH Lee, JH Choi, KT Kim, SeungYul Noh, SK Kim, SC Bae, DH Kim, Hy Park, SS Hong, JW Ahn and JW Choi, all of whom are featured in the photo below.

A year ago, Wally Uihlein, Chairman and CEO of Acushnet Company, attended the launch of the Titleist Tour Van in Korea. This year, Bill Young, Vice President, Worldwide Leadership, was on hand to help celebrate its first year anniversary, and to express his appreciation and support to the 15 full-line Titleist staff players.
